And I'm totally seriously on that too. I think he was arrested.

You gamble whenever you eat out, even if it's a nice restaurant. Even when you buy stuff. As a matter of fact, the FDA has regulations allowing a certain amount of bug and spider parts in food.

The Princess Bride was on telly this morning. Freakin' weird, I say, because I haven't seen it being played on TV since I was a young lad.

It's called a television.

Dammit.

I am watching the British version of The Office online and I can't understand half the shit they're saying.

Seriously.

They also say 'holiday' instead of 'vacation'. Bogus.

I have to admit...I absolutely LOVE to read! I read the Princess Bride...once upon a time...it was decent, but NOTHING can compare to that movie! That was a dream cast that made that movie perfect! I couldn't imagine it any other way! My 3 brothers & 2 sisters and I always quote movies and Princess Bride is ALWAYS at the top of our quoted movies list.
Here are some of our other favorites:
7 Brides for 7 Brothers..a very old but goodie!
Groundhog Day
What about Bob?
The Sound of Music
The Goonies
Tombstone-My all time favorite movie ever!
The 3 Amigos
STAR WARS...but mostly the original 3. The last 3 are eh...1 star out of 4
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy-even though they're super long
...and more

Hells yeah. I just watched Tombstone again on TV the other day. That movie kicks ass.

I like your list. Goonies is classic. One of those flicks I still like to watch on a rainy day.

Talk about your perfect dream cast...at least the major characters! I love Val Kilmer and Kurt Russell in that movie. Is it just me or do you get a tear when Doc Holliday dies. I love the moment he looks down and sees his boots aren't on. He always figured he would die in a gun fight...with his boots ON! They have sucha great friendship! Love that movie! I'm going to watch this weekend!

I like the sword fight, and of course, all the Andre the Giant parts.

Not a big fan of Robin Wright Penn, but she was o.k. in the movie.

Let us know if there's anything good on the DVD. I have the original DVD (don't remember it having any special features at all), but wanna know if it's worth upgrading.

Agree 100%! What about the Battle of Wits? I love that part. I can almost quote that whole scene. And the Billy Crystal cameo? CLASSIC.

I liked the battle of wits when I was younger, but watching it now is a little silly. I mean, the scene itself is fine, but when the explanation comes afterwards I tend to let out a groan.

Come on G-man, that shit is classic.

"You only think I guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well-known is this: never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha... "

That part is brilliant. After that, when he says he's immune, I tend to throw my beer at the TV and scream "weak, dude!"

Nah...you can't mess with perfection. And that is what Princess Bride is! He's immune...perfect solution! What better way to do in your opponent...I never once guessed that the poison would be in both glasses. That's what's so perfect!...I switched glasses when your back was turned!

I got a kick because dude thought he was all smart, tried to mess with Westley, pull the switcheroo, but the whole thing was rigged. Excellent.

Totally agree, but I still think it's lame that he's immune to the poison. Zzzzzz.

I'd have been more impressed if he'd just cheeked the drink and spat it out afterwards. That would've been pimp.
