Early rumor I read... and by that I did a Google deal today and saw a rumor from over a year ago... Anthony Michael Hall was supposed to be set up as The Riddler. But he's not. He went on record saying as much.

And further geek searching states that The Riddler might indeed be the next Bat-Villian.

My question is... will Freeman, Oldman, and Caine be back? I can see Bale, but those big three are pretty f'n huge. Regardless if they're secondary and tertiary characters. Guess if the paycheck is right. Who knows.

Did they all sign on for three?

By the way, little Batman movie fun fact that I've probably mentioned before, but Billy Dee Williams got a butt load of cash for Batman Forever. He had a pay or play contract as of Batman 1989 style because he played Harvey Dent and was signed to become Two-Face in the subsequent sequel if indeed said villian made its face(s) shown.

Thought that was pretty well known... yeah, they screwed him out of being Two Face. Tommy Lee Jones may have been more bankable, but then Willy Williams would have looked stupid with half his face purple like that. I mean, what is that? That purple gunk... what the fuck is that about, honestly?

I watched the first Batman last night. It's still a pretty awesome movie. Made me think of doing this though:

Things Batman did right:
- Old fashioned clothing, hats and cars. It made Gotham look classy and evil all at the same time.
- Batmobile was dope.
- Music by Prince.
- Music by Danny Elfman.
- Alfred is spot on.
- Jack Nicholson.
- Having Batman think the Joker killed his parents.
Things Batman did wrong:
- Having the Joker actually BE the one who killed his parents.
- When it all came down to it, the Joker was a pussy.
- Too much detail / story time spent on what should be side characters.

What the new Batman did right:
- Mad action sequences.
- Truely menacing adversaries.
- Copy-cat Batmans.
- Batmobile didn't try to mimic the Tim Burton one.
- Gives insight to the development of Batman's martial art skills and his gadgets and shit.
What the new Batman did wrong:
- Rachel Dawes. I didn't care, alright? And neither did Bruce Wayne, it seems.
- Alfred. I mean, fucking Michael Caine? Who the hell are they trying to kid... Yes, he's English, but his low-class accent is awful.

I had more, but they slipped my mind... so fuck it.

I'm pretty sure Freeman, Oldman, Caine and Bale are all signed for three.

The more I think about it, yeah, the Rachel character was pointless. When she bitch slapped Bruce in the first one I thought it was cool. The rest of the time the character was like wallpaper.

I think Jessica Alba would be a good set up for him. Someone hot.

Maybe Lana from Smallville.

At least someone with chemistry. Plus, Maggie Gyllenenenlelenenhall kind of looks retarded. Still better than ol' sideways mouth Katie.

The chick from Smallville should be allowed to star in any movie.

I think either one of those would have been good...except wasn't Jessica in Fantastic Four?

Alba was in FF, yeah.

She would be better eye candy, but she's a terrible actress.

I think Kate Beckinsale would have be a great choice for Rachel in these movies. Very, very attractive and a good actress.

The role is a little too old for Diane Lane. But I think she could do anything.

I'd say Jennifer Connelly, but she comes across as wooden in her past few movies. She was a doll in Rocketeer, however.

Could Jessica Biel have pulled it off?

Jennifer Connelly can make my movie wooden any day

Damn! I've been thinking that line up since yesterday and it still sucks!

Jessica Biel could pull ANYTHING off... including her clothes... and I would be happy to watch. Embarassed

Oh snap. See, Kris worked a better joke than me.

Although if she'd pulled a joke with 'wood' in it... *crickets chirping outside the window*

I don't have any "wood" to apply to my joke, or anything else that is a part of me though.

Then again... I'm sure that I could come up with some female wood, if need be!

*walks off whistling, while the crickets stop chirping*
