I just bought this the other day (company gives me money to buy books every 6 months). It's looking to be kind of interesting. It's kind of quirky and silly, and from the way it reads it's meant for kids - but I'm getting more than a few chuckles from it myself.

I've read reviews that John Connolly is ripping off Neil Gaiman and Terry Prachett, but I've never read Good Omen (which it's supposedly very similar) so I don't particularly give a shit. Not to mention if it was a direct rip off he'd have his ass sued, so there must be plenty to set this book apart.

Anyway, if you're after a cutesy read, couldn't go wrong with this one. I'm only a few chapters in, granted, but I see it shaping up to be interesting.
