That's cool. Dude should clean up on the casino venues then.

As much as I dislike American Idol and everything it stands for and everyone who has ever been on the show, I can give props to someone showing up, standing in line, and not even winning a game show yet still get a career. Hope dude makes a truckload of dough.

-HECK!

I don't submit to Jack, as seen yesterday as I kidnapped his nephew to hand him over to his insane grandfather.

I do like to choke women, though.

hehehehe my beard is bushier than Clay's Very Happy learn to grow it like a man, suckah!

From Air Tran Inflight Magazine:

Quote :
(Snippet)
While Aiken, now 28, may have seen fellow Southerner Ruben Studdard win
the contest by a narrow margin of votes, Aikenís record sales have
since shot to first place. His first solo album, Measure of a Man,
debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2003, then went double
platinum and became the highest-selling debut album for a solo artist
in a decade. Not fully satisfied with his success, Aikenís Merry
Christmas With Love album sold more than a million copies in six weeks
and became the best-selling holiday album of 2004. Not only that, his
book Learning to Sing; Hearing the Music in Your Life debuted at No. 2
on the New York Times Bestseller List in 2005. His latest album, A
Thousand Different Ways, covers some of pop and rock Ďní rollís
greatest love songs.

A Thousand Different Ways didn't fare as well. It's only to date sold around 600,000 or less since it came out in Sept. of 2006. Not one of his best attempts. He's working with someone now (he won't say who) on a new CD.

Pretty good though for a second place winner.

600,000 is nothing to scoff at. If he truly enjoys making music, releasing an album selling that much, and making a fortune on a US-wide tour, is not really a bad deal.

That's true... he's still selling albums, and people like him.

touring is where most artists make their money anyway. And it seems the women love him... for some reason. I'm still trying to work that one out.

I'll spare you the four hundred thousand details that make ME love him. You're welcome. I know that 600,000 isn't bad, but compared to how all his other albums and things have done, it's a drastic change.

What do you mean all his other albums? I thought this was like the second one, if you exclude the Christmas one.

Not that I was keepin' track or nuttin' Wink

Well I was including the Christmas album. He's actually put out four albums all together.
1. Measure of a Man (debut album)
2. Merry Christmas With Love (Christmas...duh )
3. A Thousand Different Ways (Sophomore)
4. All is Well (Special Edition Christmas CD 2007)

A thousand different ways is the only one that didn't do so well. All the others skyrocketed.

Do the inrejects members get a free CD, backstage passes, free open bar, and front row seats? If so, I am SO there when you tour!
