They let the little whore out to house arrest. Wow. She has to spend 40 days in a mansion. Life is really tough.

See everyone, if you're rich and white the laws don't apply.

I swear, I think the California justice system has its head up its ass. We need of those old school deep South judges that are chewin' on straw and have powdered wigs. Not some super liberal shithead and pussy ass prosecutors who bend over for the almighty buck.

Judge Judy was on Entertainment Tonight and she was fit to be tied. She was ragging on Paris, and calling the justice system a farce.

People are pissed over this.

But, are any of you really surprised by this? It's how the "law" works. The bitch has money, and bought her way out of it. Jane Doe would have had a smack down time in her cell. Not Paris.

Paris Hilton Ordered Back to Court After Being Released From Jail

LOS ANGELES -- Hours after Paris Hilton was sent home under house arrest Thursday (video: MyFoxLA) the judge who originally put her in jail ordered her back to court to determine whether she should be put back behind bars.
"The city attorney filed a petition for an order to show cause why the sheriff should not be held in contempt for releasing Ms. Hilton, and demanded that she be held in custody," Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini said late Thursday afternoon.
He said Hilton must report to court at 9 a.m. Friday.
After only three days behind bars, Hilton traded a 12-by-8-foot cell for her 2,700-square-foot Hollywood Hills home when she was released early Thursday because of an unspecified medical condition.
Hilton was to be under home confinement, wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet, for the remaining 40 days of her sentence for violating probation in a reckless driving case.
The celebrity inmate was sent home from the L.A. County jail's Lynwood lockup shortly after 2 a.m. in a stunning reduction to her original 45-day sentence.
No details were available on the nature of Hilton's medical condition. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore refused to answer questions about whether it was physical or psychological. Hilton's lawyer and publicist did not return calls seeking comment.
"I can't specifically talk about the medical situation other than to say that yes, it played a part in this," Whitmore said at an early morning news conference outside the jail.
The decision to release Hilton was made by Sheriff Lee Baca, according to the Probation Department. A deputy at the sheriff's information bureau said there would be no comment.
Hilton's sentence was first cut from 45 to 23 days because of "good behavior." When she chose to serve her time under house arrest, the sentence reverted to the original 45 days. Although she spent only three days in jail, she was credited for five because she checked in late Sunday and left early Thursday, leaving her with 40 days.
On Sunday night, after a surprise red-carpet appearance at the MTV Movie Awards, Hilton surrendered to authorities with little fanfare.
"I am trying to be strong right now," she told reporters at the time. "I'm ready to face my sentence. Even though this is a really hard time, I have my family, my friends and my fans to support me, and that's really helpful."
Hilton was housed in the "special needs" unit of the 13-year-old jail, separate from most of its 2,200 inmates. The unit contains 12 two-person cells reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates. Hilton didn't have a cellmate.
Like other inmates in the special-needs area, Hilton took meals in her cell and was allowed outside for at least an hour each day to shower, watch TV in the day room, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone.
When Hilton was sentenced May 4, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled she would not be allowed any work release, furloughs or use of an alternative jail or electronic monitoring in lieu of jail.
Whitmore said Thursday that Sauer "was consulted and he was advised" about her early release.
The 26-year-old hotel heiress' path to jail began Sept. 7, when she failed a sobriety test after police saw her weaving down a Hollywood street in her Mercedes. She pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was sentenced to 36 months' probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.
On Jan. 15, she was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol. Informed that her license was suspended, Hilton signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive. Then, on Feb. 27, she was pulled over a third time, which led to her three-day incarceration.
Her new lockup is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom, Spanish-style home on .14 acres above the Sunset Strip.

The sun can explode now, because I have lived to see a great event.

Woah. Pic of her sobbing in the johnny law car. The girl is 8 years old mentally. She needs to act like a woman and just do the time already. The article says she now has to serve the full 45 days, not 23. She blew this one.

Paris Hilton Sent Back to Jail on Judge's Orders (Update1)

By Demian McLean
June 8 (Bloomberg) -- A judge sent hotel heiress Paris Hilton back to jail in tears today, overruling a sheriff whose decision to confine her at her Hollywood Hills home had sparked complaints of special treatment.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer ordered the 26-year-old socialite to serve her full 45-day sentence, spokesman Allan Parachini said in a televised news conference. Hilton screamed and called for her mother as she left court, the Associated Press said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department released Hilton yesterday, three days into a reduced 23-day sentence, for confinement at her swimming-pool-equipped home. Deputies cited unspecified medical reasons, a decision the judge questioned today.
``He said he'd seen no evidence to support that there was a medical condition,'' Parachini said. Hilton was arrested in January on an alcohol-related charge of reckless driving. In the next two months, police stopped her twice while she was driving, a violation of her parole conditions, according to police.

Justice is served. I don't know HOW the sheriff was able to release her, without the sentencing judge on board. It all stinks of a lot of money.

My absolute horrible day just got a pinch better reading that.

jail isn't that fuckin bad anyway. It's not like it's high security prison with people in there for life. The biggest thing for her is going to be finding something to do. Jail's really not that rough, it's just boring.

She is a spoiled rotten brat who drunk drove, screwed with the system and lost. All she had to do was tow the line after the DUI and make the best of it. She did it to herself.

Bright side is maybe she will wake up some and not drive anymore at all. Just get a driver. She can afford it.

If she can't do the time, don't do the crime. Her yelling for her moma and having a mental breakdown is about the same reaction you would expect at a death penalty murder trial.

C'mon, she gets 45 days in county. It aint fun, but it aint the end of the world either.

I do feel some compassion for her, she's not Hitler or Dahmer, she is just a spoiled rotten brat. She needs a fregin wake up call though. She is 26, not 16, she should have some maturity already.

She never graduated high school, just got her GED, which is pathetic, with her money and background. Not like she had to drop out to get a job. Just lazy and stupid.

To see her and her mom act like the Nazi's were dragging her to the gas chambers instead of what it was, police taking her to a little over a month in county lockup, just made me want to puke. I'm starting to blame the mom worse than Paris.

What kind of messed up Jerry Springer family is this?

Hahaha she didn't even finish High School properly? Come on! Those were sucky years to be alive, but it was basically a breeze. And there are people who would kill to have the money her family has just so they can afford a good college and make something worthwhile out of themselves! What a waste...

One day after learning that Paris Hilton has found God, we discover she's lost her agent.
Michael Donkis of the Endeavor Agency confirmed to E! Online Tuesday that the firm is no longer representing Hilton. Donkis did not offer any explanation for the move. Sources say the announcement was made Friday—the same day Hilton was ordered back to jail—in a company-wide email.
While the loss of her agent ranks relatively low on the list of Hilton's current worries, the man behind her get-out-of-jail ticket is facing all kinds of problems of his own.
On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors gave Sheriff Lee Baca one week to come up with a detailed report on why, exactly, he defied a judge's orders and granted the heiress a "reassignment" to house arrest after just 72 hours behind bars.
This time around, an unspecified "medical condition" probably won't suffice.
At a morning hearing, County Supervisors Mike Antonovich and Yvonne B. Burke said that Baca must outline why Hilton was allowed to go home as opposed to the other inmates at Century Regional Detention Facility compatriots complaining of emotional and physical problems, especially since Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer expressly forbade home detention and electronic monitoring in his sentencing ruling.
Critics have cried foul over what they've deemed as kid-gloves treatment for inmate 9818783.
"We welcome the board of supervisors to be our voice because we feel...there should be no favoritism to anyone and this should not be about Paris Hilton," said activist Najee Ali, director of the Los Angeles-based Project Islamic HOPE. "This should be about the thousands of other inmates currently incarcerated in L.A. County jail who need proper medical treatment and who aren't given medical treatment as Paris Hilton was."
Baca has steadfastly denied such charges, insisting the Simple Life star needed a change of scenery after an "inexplicable deterioration" in jail due to "severe" medical problems. Baca said Hilton was in a downward spiral due in part to lack of proper medication, and he made the decision only after consulting county psychiatrists.
While there has been no official word on what ails Hilton, she acknowledged in a phone call to Barbara Walters Sunday to having been "severely depressed" at the jail. (One source told E! Online that Hilton suffers from claustrophobia, which may have affected her condition, while TMZ reports that the 26-year-old has ADD and didn't have access to her medicine.)
On Monday, Gloria Allred filed a claim with the county, accusing the sheriff and officials at Century Regional Detention Facility of denying her client, inmate Pamela Richardson, basic necessities. Like the use of her prosthetic leg. [View the claim.]
"I know I am not Paris Hilton," Richardson said in a statement released through Allred, "but I am a human being with medical needs, and I don't understand why I was treated in the way that I was." Such a claim is the precursor to a lawsuit. County officials say they are already receiving dozens of similar complaints.

Meanwhile, Baca's office is denying suggestions that a $1,000 campaign contribution from William Barron Hilton, Paris' grandfather, helped him make the decision to relocate the socialite. Sheriff's Department spokesperson Steve Whitmore said the money "has no bearing on the way she has been treated."
But the appearance of playing favorites with Hilton has led to a former county employee to launch an effort to have Baca recalled. Andrew Ahlering says on his recallbaca.com site that he is "not anti-Hilton" but wants the sheriff to "be held personally responsible for the failings of his jail system to ensure equal rights for all."
Not surprisingly, Baca is getting support from one quarter.
After paying a visit to Hilton at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility's medical ward Monday, Hilton attorney Richard Hutton told reporters that his client was doing "as well as she can."
"The staff here is giving her excellent medical care. She's being treated the same as everyone else in jail. She is receiving no preferential treatment."
In addition to Hutton's drop-in, Hilton was also visited Monday by her psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Sophy, whose report of the heiress' mental condition last week played a major part in her reassignment. This time around, however, he opted to keep his professional opinion to himself, refusing to speak to the phalanx of reporters.
Parents Rick and Kathy Hilton, meanwhile, popped in Tuesday for a half-hour of face time, though their visit seems to have done more harm than good. The duo were whisked past a line of fellow visitors, bypassing some inmate relatives who had to wait upwards of four hours to be let into the facility, prompting yet more accusations of preferential treatment.
One visitor who had already made it inside the Twin Towers told the Associated Press that officials asked her to leave the visiting room and return after lunch in order to give the Hiltons the chance for a private visit.
For his part, Whitmore again attempted to do some damage control, saying it was routine procedure for high-profile visitors to visit during lunch, when the room is typically cleared.
Speaking to reporters after the controversial visit, Kathy Hilton said her daughter was still having trouble eating and sleeping ("It's tough in there; it's cold," said Kathy), but she was soldiering on.
"She just wants to do her time and get on with it."
